Directions to get to Green Pastures?

From Mopac
Exit Caesar Chavez( 1st Street ) Head East
Turn Right (South) Guadalupe Bridge
Cross the bridge and the street becomes South 1st Street
Take South 1st 1.5 miles past the bridge to Live Oak
Turn right (West) onto Live Oak
Head West 3 blocks and Green Pastures will be on your left.

From I35
Exit Oltorf and Head West
Take Oltort to South 1st Street
Turn right (North) on South 1st
The next light is Live Oak turn left (west)
Take Live Oak 3 blocks west and Green Pastures will be on your left.

From 290/71

Exit South 1st Street and Head North
Take South 1st Street to Live Oak ( about a mile and half)
Turn left onto Live Oak (West)
Take Live Oak 3 blocks west and Green Pastures will be on your left.

What is the attire at Green Pastures?
During the day the attire is generally described as business casual. 
In the evening Green Pastures is the site for many special occasions. 

Does Green Pastures have easy parking?
Yes, we have over 5 acres in South Austin and it is free.

Does Green Pastures have valet parking?
No, but we can arrange for valet service for your event.

Does Green Pastures have Private Rooms?
Yes, Green Pastures has private rooms available.

What kind of food does Green Pastures serve?
Green Pastures serves the finest steaks and seafood,
representing classical techniques with local and regional ingredients

Does Green Pastures have vegetarian dishes?
Yes, Green Pastures offers vegetarian cuisine and will
customize plates for your dining pleasure

Does Green Pastures have a kids menu?
Yes, Green Pastures has a kid's menu.

Can Green Pastures cater food at my house?
Yes we have been serving in the homes of Austinites for 60 years.

Can we bring in our own food?
No, Green Pastures is a full service restaurant and
caterer that complies with THD rules and regulations

Can we bring in our own wine?
No, Green Pastures has a full liquor license which does
not allow liquor beer or wine to be brought by our customers

Is Green Pastures a Bed and Breakfast?
No, Green Pastures is not a bed and breakfast.

What rooms are in the Old House?
The Music, the Burgundy and the Family Dining Room (FDR)
are in the Old House.  These rooms are downstairs near the foyer.
